Come forward to help Leh victims: NSS volunteers

KATHUA, Aug 18: National Social Service (NSS) unit of Vivekananda College of Education Kathua has appealed the general public to donate generously for the victims of Leh cloud burst incident.
The NSS volunteers of Vivekananda College today deputed 3 to 4 teams to collect the donations for the rehabilitation of the sufferers of the natural disaster which affected almost entire Leh.
The activist of NSS Prabhjeet Kour, Mandeep Kour, Preeti Sharma, Sandeep Singh and Rahul Dev said that we are going to approach every person to get some financial help on humanitarian grounds.
They said that people in Leh are still facing lots of problems; it is therefore the moral duty of every citizen to come forward and extend a helping hand to the sufferers of nature’s fury.
