| Civil Defence organises awareness programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Aug 18: The district Civil Defence Committee Kathua organized one day awareness programme in Women Degree College Kathua under the chairmanship of chief warden of the Civil Defence Dhian Chand with a motive to aware the students of the college to deal with any kind of the natural or man made disaster.
On the occasion, the principal of the college Prof Adarsh Malhotra, who was the chief guest, also addressed the gathering.
He said that people should be vigilant and active by equipping with more and more tips to save the lives during the brutal and fatal natural dangerous incidence like earthquakes, floods, fire and etc.
While addressing the student and along with other audience the chief warden of the district Civil Defence Dhian Chand also expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the killings of thousands of innocent people in Leh cloud burst and also showed sympathy with whom are sufferings from lots of problems serious and valuable concerns over the role and importance of the objectives of the one day awareness programme of civil defence is to impart the knowledge and fighting tips about for the protection and complete safety of the people during the any kind of disaster due to which major devastations and destruction and killings of mass on large scale could be saved.
