| MSS flays self style leaders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 18: All Jammu and Kashmir Mahasha Sadar Sabha has strongly condemned the news items appeared in local daily on 9th & 13th of August 2010 under caption that “President Sethi will remain President till Election”and "Nomination of his Office bearers" when they were already rejected by the community in a general convention held on August 8. Thus activities of these persons are quite unconstitutional, false and anti-Sabha.
This was stated by newly nominated Chief Convener of Sabha, Punjab Chand while addressing media persons here today
Punjab Chand said that in order to run smooth functioning of the Sabha and completion of election related work Adhoc Central and District level committees were already constituted vide notification No. GNDT/2010/114 dated 8th August 2010 with full majority of the community people came from all Districts of Jammu Province participated in the convention where in Saran Dass Manyal was nominated as Dy Chief Convener.
He further informed that some office bearers of the self styled President Sethi are Government employees and they are advised to shun such anti-Sabha activities which are against the employees conduct rule and Sabha as well. They are requested to adopt the right path for strengthening the Sabha which is a dire need of the hour.
Chief Convenor urged to the whole community not to believe in these false news-propaganda which was published in newspapers and he appealed to the community to extend full co-operation to the Central and District level Committees in exercising the membership drive within the stipulated period viz 3 months so that the office bearers of the Sabha would be elected in a democratic manner.
