| Heritage School holds Investiture ceremony | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 18: Heritage School, Jammu, held first Investiture Ceremony today in its amphitheatre amidst a large gathering of enthusiastic students and proud parents.
On the occasion, K C S Mehta, the Principal Army School, Akhnoor was the Chief Guest.
The parents of the elected student members of the Council were the special guests, Chairperson, Sunita Gupta and Sunil Gupta, Trustee also graced the occasion.
Mayank Gupta, Kritika Mengi Lakhdeep Singh, Shivangi Mahajan, Daksh Makin, Gurpreet Singh and Herneet Singh were administered oath as Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Captain Sports, Captain Culture and Captain Discipline respectively by Harbans Singh, the senior most faculty member.
Aadit Samnotra and Mahima Sagar; Sonakshi and Priyanka Koul ; Ayush and Akanksha; Sharika Sharma and Ezaan Dawar received sashes as Captains and Vice Captains of Dignity, Legacy, Tradition and Culture House respectively.
The student council comprising elected members along with the student committee comprising all contestants pledged to work for the upliftment of the school with relentless commitment and leading by example.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal B N Sarkar, threw light on the democratic process of election and congratulated the winners and contestants for their efforts and assiduous adherence to the values of the school system.
The Chairperson, Sunita Gupta , while addressing the audience congratulated all the student leaders, council of teachers and the Principal for their efforts to add another eventful day to the history of school achievements.
