''To address the various concerns of the regions and also to ensure the routine transaction of normal business of the government, simultaneous functioning of civil secretariat should be bring into force,'' Harsh Dev Singh, senior JKNPP leader told reporters at a press conference here this morning. Harsh said the tense security scenario prevalent in the Valley had adversely affected the normal transaction of government business with the civil secretariat Srinagar having become defunct and move offices having become redundant. ''The civil secretariat Srinagar wore a deserted look with negligible activity being undertaken except the transfer orders being issued by Ministers selectively for vested interests,'' alleged the Panther party leader. He further said no other file was being disposed, no plan funds being released and no approvals for public utility works were being accorded. Harsh added that ''the Union government needs to awake to the suffering of the common man who has been held to ransom due to the feeble handicapped and imbecile ruling coalition.'' |
