| Havaldar killed in landslide at Pouni | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Aug 19: An army Havaldar was killed in a landslide at Letar in Pounichak area of Reasi early this morning.
Police sources said a landslide occured at Letar due to heavy rains at about 4 am, resulting in the death of Havaldar Gurmaz Singh, son of Niranjan Singh of 18 Dogra. He hailed from Gurdaspur in Punjab.
After post-mortem at primary health centre, Bambla, the body was despatched his home at Gurdaspur.Police had registered a case in this connection. |
