| JD Institute holds rakhi designing competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Aug 20: To celebrate the auspicious festival of rakhi,JD Institute today organized a a competition of creating designer rakhis at its centre .
The task given to the students was to create sets of 5 designer rakhis each and then they were judged on the basis of creativity, colour, design and variety. The students came up with exquisite designs and beautiful designer rakhis.
The first prize was bagged by Neharika Gupta, second prize was shared between Ridhima Jain and kanav goel and the third prize went to Palak Gupta. Gautam kumar, shabnam khan, shruti Sharma and Daman preet won the consolation prizes.
Maansi Gupta, centre Director of the institute said that every year students come up with one creative idea after another, thereby raising the bar every year.
