| 2days workshop on NAAC accreditation concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Aug 21: Two days workshop on NAAC accreditation /re-accreditation held in govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College concluded today with the valedictory function being attended by Dr. Sham Lal Gupta Director Colleges, Higher Education department as the chief guest. Dr.Muqbil Chisti, OSD, Higher Education was the other dignitary who graced the function.
In the technical session, Dr.Meenakshi Kilam, resources person from University of Jammu, devilled upon the collection of data and documentation required for the assessment and accreditation process, which was followed up by an interactive session with the IQAC co-ordinatros. This was followed by a group activity, where participants worked on the seven criterions for NAAC assessment & accreditation.
The type of support excepted form the higher education department was also underlined. Chief guest Dr.Sham Lal Gupta, Director College, Dr.Muqbil Chisti, OSD and Prof.M.S Baloria Principal G.G.M science college in their address were of the opining that such type of workshops were highly beneficial for the IQAC teams of the colleges, in preparing them to face the challenge of NAAC assessment process.
