Assess losses due to flash floods: JKPCC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 21: Senior leaders of Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) have asked the government to assess the damage and loss to the migrant camps in Mishriwal, Purkhoo and Muthi due to heavy rains and floods. In this regard a delegation of Kashmiri migrant leaders comprising of Chuni Lal Bhat, Roshan Lal Raina and others met the senior Congress leaders and apprised them of the damage caused to the Kashmiri migrant camps. The senior leaders of Congress including former Deputy Chief Minister and Senior Vice President Mangat Ram Sharma, MLC Ravinder Sharma-General Secretary & Spokesperson, Amolak Singh-General Secretary and Manmohan Singh-Secretary urged the government to assess the loss and provide adequate relief and help to the affected Kashmiri migrants in camps and other places. Meanwhile, the senior congress leaders asked the government to expedite the process of assessment of loss to the houses and crops in different parts and provide immediate relief to the affected people. |
