SVO devises ways to curb corruption | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 21: The state vigilance organisation (SVO) officers today met at Samba to devise ways for the effective monitoring of working in government departments to curb the menace of corruption. The theme of the conference was 'internal vigilance', according to SVO sources. During interaction, the officers emphasised the need for early redressal of peoples' grievances and effective monitoring of working in all government departments. They also felt the need of keeping an eye on the functioning of government departments to curb the menace of corruption, the sources added. Among others, the meeting was attended by SVO DIG MS Salaria, SVO SSP Syed Afadul Mujtaba and SSP, Samba, JL Sharma. |
