| Provide special package to J&K : NMC | | | Early Times Report

Provide special financial package of Rs. 5,000 crore to Jammu and Kashmir for fully funding expenditures for implementation of 6th Pay Commission recommendations in favour of State Government employees and pensioners urged National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President Subash Shastri to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh .
While addressing a rally of workers here on Sunday, Shastri said the Centre should announce a special package for J&K State in the current monsoon session of Parliament.
He also urged PM to take an early decision in releasing the installment of DA which is due from July this year @ 10% in favour of both Central and State Government employees and pensioners.
Shastri hoped that the state government, would pay his special attention to the other pending demands of the working class especially removal of anomalies in the SRO 93 and those of the workers who have been employed as daily wages but were not regularised even after the expiry of seven to fifteen years of there working.
Among those who also addressed the rally included Sham Lal Sharma, Bhupinder Singh, Kasturi Lal, Chaman Lai Bhagat, Sukh Dev Singh, Subash Chander, Surrinder Kumar, Dalip Bhagat, Vijay Bhagat, Roshan Lal, Kasturi Lal, Om Parkash, Ramesh Chander, Geeta Devi, Gafoor Ahmed and Barkat Ram.
