JWAM opposes autonomy to JK

JAMMU, Aug 22:
Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has threatened to observe Jammu bandh if UPA Government went ahead with the move to grant autonomy to the state.
The Movement has decided to start the Jan Andolan from September 4 for the restoration of Peace, normalcy and against the failure of UPA Government to end this present on going turmoil in Kashmir Valley which has shattered the economy and development of the State.
JWAM president Sunil Dimple asked Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh that he should clear UPA Government’s stand to the people of state and country.
Dimple alleged that the weak kneed policies of the UPA Government have demoralized security forces and it is solely responsible for the present blood shed in valley.
