SSH appeals Azad to restore recognition of dental college | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 22: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has appealed to the Union Health Minister, Gulam Nabi Azad to put in sincere efforts for restoring the recognition of Government Indira Gandhi Dental College, Jammu as future of hundreds of students studying there is at stake. Expressing its anguish over de-recognition of Dental College, SSH president Dimpy Kohli while addressing a press conference here today said that even after six years since its establishment in 2004, the government could not improve the infrastructures of the college which led to its de-recognition by Dental Council of India (DCI) this year. He said this happened when both the health minister and health education minister in the state cabinet belongs to Jammu. He said that the Shiv Sena is with the students of dental college and appeal to the state government and Union Health Minister, Gulam Nabi Azad to do sincere efforts for the recognition of the college.
