| JKTF condemns attitude of CEO Doda | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 22:
A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Gopal Singh Provincial General Secretary of the Forum.
The members discussed in detail the working of the Education Department at Directorate level and condemned the attitude of some District Officers of Education Department.
In the meeting the attitude of Chief Education Officer Doda was especially condemned who they alleged is hell bent upon to deteriorate the education system in District Doda by transferring RETs in the Schools having already surplus staff and by not providing subject teachers in the needy schools.
The forums members demanded the overhauling of all clerical staff as well as attached teachers from Chief Education Officer’s Office (CEO) Doda who are working in this office for last 10 to 15 years and helping their nears and dears through favoritism and nepotism.
Chief Education Officer was criticized for his role for late submission of Award Files which as hurt the sentiments of hard working and honest teachers.
The Forum members appealed to the Education Minister, Education Secretary and Director School Education, Jammu to inquire into all the demands highlighted by the JK Teacher Forum otherwise forum will be compelled to launch agitation against the erring officials.
