| Night curfew clamped in RS Pura | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,Aug 22: To check infiltration from across the International Border (IB), the district magistrate today imposed night curfew in the border RS Pura area.
The authorities have imposed night curfew for two months to prevent movement of anti-national elements, according to official sources.In an order, the district magistrate has restricted the movement of any person or persons from 10 pm to 5 am.
"I have met several heads of villages in the vicinity, and have told them to obey the orders with immediate effect," said Kasturi Lal, Incharge of the Border Police Post in RS Pura.
People have been asked to stay indoors during night hours so that they were not mistaken for militants, or border smugglers.
