| Amandeep Singh Murder caseCourt to hear arguments on charge | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 23: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu AK Shan today adjourned the much publicized murder case of Amandeep Singh as the Special Public Prosecutor was not present. The court directed the Speical PP to appear on August 25, 2010 and advance arguments on framing charge.
All the accused namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, then SSP Manohar Singh, then SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, Battastic Expert FSL Sujat Bukari, Constable Raj, Chodhary Nagar Singh, Choduhary Rakesh Singh, except Choudhary Jagar Singh were present.
It is worth mentioning here that Amandeep Singh s/o Former MLC & Advocate presently PDP Leader Deepinder Kour was murdered on August 29, 2009.. The main accused Jatinder Singh s/o Choudhary Nagar Singh was arrested on August 30, 2009 and accused Royal Singh was also arrested. Later the weapon of offence was recovered from them. It was alleged that the weapon of offence was allegedly changed by Choudhary brothers by hatching criminal conspiracy with the police officers and FSL officials. All the police officials & FSL officials were arrested in fudging of evidence whereas Choudhary brothers surrendered before the Court on November 17, 2009.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court of India has dismissed the bail application of Choudhary Nagar Singh and his brother Rakesh Singh. JNF
