| Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) organizes Iftaar party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Aug 23:
In keeping with its endeavor of maintaining peace, harmony and stability in the area of responsibility, Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) launched yet another people’s friendly initiative during the holy month of Ramadaan by organizing an Iftaar party for the locals of Thanamandi area.
Around 80 civilians from various socio economic backgrounds attended the celebration, which was organized by Sector Headquarters Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Romeo Force.
The event included a sumptuous feast and offering of Namaaz.
The gathering included religious teachers, social activities and representatives of Civil Administration and witnessed a free and frank exchange of views, ideas and greetings. Sector Commander Rashtriya Rifles, present on the occasion, emphasized that peace and stability was a pre-requisite for all round development in the area. Religious teachers and elders stressed upon the need to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood in the society. They appreciated this unique initiative of the Army to reach out to the masses in religious celebrations during this Holy month.
