After torching the effigy of the minister the activists of the BJYM also shouted slogans against the govt and urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to set an example of high transparency by professionally probing the charges. Several student leaders including common students in Jammu University termed it a shameful act by the politicians and blatant misuse of power. What kind of example these politicians are setting for the youth, the students said raising a question mark on the personal conduct of the senior minister linked in the case. Meanwhile, police awaiting records from the private college is learnt to have started its investigation in the case on the receipt of relevant documents pertaining to the examination record.
