'Beta ye kya, cheating bhi nahi aati’ | Advisor's advice to his son! | | ET Report Jammu, Aug 23: Muna Bhai used his cell phone to pass the examination. He did not dare to carry material to the examination hall. But the kin of Chief Minister's Advisor carried as many as twenty-eight paper slips to the examination hall to pass his law examination unlawfully. The cheat was arrested by a defiant Jammu University administration and a strong case has been made against him. The Advisor known for getting things done from the back door would have never imagined that his writ could be challenged by an educational institution. While Gul used his political position to save his son, the defiant university administration refused to succumb much to the Advisor's disappointment. According to reports, Mubarak Gul's son was caught while using unfair means while writing his second semester paper of third year LLB in Jammu University's Law faculty yesterday. During routine checking, reports said, the vigilant invigilators found him in possession of 28 paper slips relevant to the paper. Gul has received this shock at a time when the Chief Minister is fighting `Valley's rough political weather'. The NC members especially the Advisor should have behaved accordingly. But he used his position to harass the university administration. This is perhaps the first time when the National Conference leaders have failed to get things done through the back door. The university administration deserves appreciation for the boldness it has shown. But the Chief Minister, in his capacity as Pro-Chancellor of the University must taken action against his Advisor for harassing those who caught his son and made a strong case against him, an employee of the University said. "This is what fairness demands. And, this is what the Chief Minister has promised on the first day in office. He assured clean administration", he added. The Advisor has reasons to worry. If the case is proved against his son, he may never complete his LLB. This also means that Ali Muhammad Sagar's son, who has completed his LLB will have an edge over Gul's kin. Can Gul afford that? |
