| MCC trying to polarize Jammu: JSM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, August 24: Jammu State Morcha members has strongly condemned the resolution of Muslim Coordination Committee for Jammu Province and the statement made by its leader Zahur-ud-Din where in Kashmir issue is only identified with the Muslim community of the state and said that Muslim community of the state is united and it would not tolerate brutality on Kashmiris.
“By doing so MCC and Zahur-ud Din have tried to communally polarize the atmosphere of the state and Jammu province in particular,” said the Morcha leaders .
Zahur-ud-Din who has always boasted and pretended as secular minded nationalist Muslim of Jammu province has shown his true colours when he said that New Delhi must come forward and fulfill its promise on referendum that it gave to the people of Kashmir.
JSM reminded Zahur-ud-Din that whatever promise New Delhi made it was for all the people of Jammu and Kashmir and not merely for the Kashmiri Muslims.
Being a learned man he should know that the United Nations Organizations recognized Pakistan as aggressor and laid down the pre- condition that Pakistan would withdraw its forces, vacate the territory of Jammu and Kashmir state that it has forcibly occupied & then only would the referendum take place.
“Since all these years Pakistan has not withdrawn its forces from POK, therefore the General Secretary of UNO, USA, United Kingdom, Russia, France and other nations have also rejected the referendum as the solution to Kashmir problem and questioned its feasibility. Therefore the promise made by the Government of India to the people of Jammu and Kashmir state automatically becomes redundant. In these circumstances support extended by Zahur-ud-Din & MCC to the referendum and making the cause of few separatist and anti- India Kashmiri leaders as that of the whole of the Muslim community reflect that they has become an instrument of deep conspiracy to divide Jammu province on communal lines and to encourage the separatist and anti- India tendencies in the province also,” the JSM speakers observed.
Jammu State Morcha cautioned the Government and the people of Jammu region against such like people & committees who want to disturb the communal harmony and peace prevailing in Jammu region and want to drag the Muslims of Jammu region along the path of separation from the country. The people of Jammu region, irrespective of their religion, caste and creed have always stood for the national integrity and showed their extreme patriotism on all crucial moments & such efforts will not be tolerated at any cost.
The meeting was attended by H. B. Khajuria sr. vice president in the chair & members, Anil Gour, Dig Vijay Singh, Chandra Uday Sharma, Virender Magotra, Divender Singh Jamwal, Balvinder Singh Surjeet Singh & Mukesh Raina.
