| 2 Day BMD camp concludes | | | Early Times Report

Two days Bone Mass Density (BMD) Camp was concluded today at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar in Physiotherapy Hall of the OPD Block.
In the camp which was free , about 170 clients were screened by BMD Machine in two days. Dr Subash Bhagat Medical Superintendent, Dr Arun Sharma Dy. Medical Superintendent Sr Orthopedicians Dr Kamaljeet Singh, Dr Rakesh Sharma, Dr Vikrant Sharma and other senior doctors were present on the occasion.
BMD test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of our bone. The health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict the risk of bone fractures in the future. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis.
The next camp will be held on 23rd and 24th of September .
