JBA organises workshop, frames youth wing

Samba, Aug 24: A workshop on ‘Jammu Bachao Andolan’ ( JBA) was organised at Vijaypur here the other day. The incharge of Andolan, Yash Paul Sharma of the district Samba along with Ex. MLA Ashok Sharma inaugurated it, while J.S Baloria was the chief guest on the occasion.
The speakers highlighted the aims and objectives of the organisation and the circumstances which necessitated the formation of “Jammu Bachao Andolan” Sanstha. All the participants of the workshop appreciated the view points of JBA and stressed upon the need to create awareness of the mission among the people from village level to town and city levels by setting-up different levels units/committees. The process/campaign of which stood already undertaken by the JBA.
The participants also approved the proposal, which was already under consideration of the organisation, for formation of JBA youth wing as “Anti-Discrimination Force” at different levels to strengthen and fight for the cause of organisation at various levels and in different circumstances.
The JBA’s proposed Anti-Discrimination Force, so formed shall be functioning as volunteers in a peaceful manner and in non-violent way, purely based on Gandhian way of struggle.
The participants further expressed their grief and sorrow over the sad tragic occurrence at Leh of which hundred of families became victim. The JBA, hereby, conveys its sympathy towards the victims of the disaster and appeals to the people of Nation to come forward for the help of the sufferers besides its members.
The workshop ended with the conclusion that the message of creativeness and awareness of mission of JBA needs to be conveyed upto gross root level, to enhance the membership and to prepare a common platform for all like minded/parallel organisation to restore the glory of Samba district in particular and Jammu region in general and to fight for its cause. The stress was laid upon all the members of the JBA to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood in the country in general and in the State in particular, at all cost.
Among others who spoke on the occasion were G.L. Bhagat, Dr. Satish Parkash, H.S. Baloria, M.S Jamwal, Mahesh Sharma, D.S Jamwal, Ch. Sukhdev Singh, Girdhari Lal, Ajay Sharma, Sukhdev Verma, Shashi Bushan Thappa, Varinder Saini, Ashwani Sharma, A.K Dutta, Raghunandan Khajuria, Onkar Singh Saini, Radha Raman Bali and Subash Dubey.
