| Gurmut Samagam organized at Batote | | | Early Times Report
Batote, Aug 24: The annual Gurmut Samagam in the memory of Sant Mela Singh Ji the 4th Saint of Dera nangali Sahib Poonch organized at Gurudwara Yadgar Sant Mela Singh at Sant Roocdha Singh Pura, Batote under the supervision of Mahant Manjeet Singh. A large number of devotees within and outsident the State religious function including Giani Sahib Singh Chamak Ex-Head Granthee Shree Harminder Sahib, Bhai Ranjeet Singh Rogi, S.S. Swaran Singh Khalsa preacher of SGPC Amritsar and incharge Sikh mission J&K, and Sarwan Singh Katha wachakof Gurdaspur (Pb) and through light on holy Guru Granth Sahib and achievements of Dera Nangali Sahib toward the Sikh community.
While addressing the Sikh Sangat Arvinder Singh Micky, Chairman Legislature Council condemned the threats in the valley to the Sikh Community by some anti-Social elements and said that majority community in Kashmir is with Sikh Community and they have strongly condemned the threats by anti-social elements, he further said that he had called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and stressed upon to fulfill the genuine demands like solve the 1947 refugees problems once for all and grant reservation ot the Refugees in the Govt. employment. The leaders of various Sikh organizations including S.Gurbachan Singh Datta president national Akali Dal, S.Narveer Singh President SYAD, S Parmjeet Singh President AISSF, S.Joginder Singh Inqulabi, S.Kulwant Singh Chief-Adv SNS, S.Satinder Pal Singh Sethi Ex-member DGPC, Jammu. S.T.P. Singh Sr. Akali Dal Mann Leader, S.Gajan Singh Chairman Sikh Sangat, S.Ghour Singh Vetran Akali leader and many other personalities also participated and addressed the gathering S.Kehar Singh President and Jasbir Singh.
