CBI probe not enough, remove minister: Opposition | | | Early Times Report Jammu,Aug 24: Even though the state government has decided to hand over the investigation in the impersonation racket to the premiere investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation opposition parties are still not amused with the state government's response and continue to demand immediate resignation of the senior Congress Minister to prevent misuse of authority to salvage his image. Name of the Congress Ministers daughter had figured in the case immediately after the arrest of six imposters from Jammu university campus and preliminary investigation in the case has beyond doubt established the fact that the candidate whose admit card was recovered from the custody of imposter belonged to the daughter of the congress minister Huma Tabassum. Senior BJP and Panthers party leaders on Tuesday said CBI probe is alright but the chief minister should ask his cabinet colleague to submit his resignation to ensure fair trial in the case. Allaying fears of misuse of authority by the congress minister the opposition leaders demanded that the cabinet minister should be asked to resign in the interest of the fair justice. Meanwhile, various student bodies have also raised the demand of resignation of the congress minister in the case. The student leaders said that the daughter of the senior minister was not in a position to step out of the house and arrange an imposter on her behlaf. Prima facie it is clear that the congress minister must have arranged the imposter on his own or used his clout to get one imposter to appear in the entrance test on behalf of her daughter. Inside reports revealed that with each passing hour pressure is mounting on the police authorities to trace the whereabouts and arrest the kingpin of the imposter racket to take the investigation in the case to its logical conclusion.
