| DPS organises inter house patriotic song competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 25: To kindle an aesthetic sense and inculcate patriotic essence among the students an Inter House Patriotic song Competition was organized with reverence and zeal by Delhi Public School (DPS) here today.
The enthusiastic students represented their respective houses and performed in the competition with a positive approach.
Arunima Rai who was to judge the occasion and successfully monitored the competition on the parameters of lyrics, tune, composition and sentiments. Principal of school Sudarshan Sonar appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and urged the students to take patriotism as lively sense of collective responsibility. On this occasion the winner of the Inter House Quiz Competition held on 20th Aug. 2010 were also felicitated. The Inter House Patriotic song Competition was won by Ganga House, while Jhelum House stood 2nd and Chenab House got third position.
