| Cultural, Educational and Sports Society organises composite program | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Aug 25: Educational, Environmental, Social, Sports And Cultural Society Bhalessa Doda in collaboration with Government Girls High School Budhlee Bhalessa today organized a composite program at HS Budhlee. The program was attended by students of various schools, prominent citizens and locals in large gathering.
The programme was presided by chairman of the society, Mohd. Ayoub Zargar as ZEO Bhatyas, Nissar Ahmad Batt was the chief guest and advocate Imitiaz Ahmad Mir was the guest of honour.
Students of the school presented colourful cultural programme and speeches were delivered on the different topics like conservation of forest, environmental pollution and moral education besides a drama ‘Habba Khatoon’ with the theme women education is necessary for building up the society was also displayed on the stage by the students of the school which was very much appreciated by the audience.
Financial assistance f Rs 3000 was distributed by the society among six widows and six orphan students of the area.
Speaking on the occasion ZEO Bhatyas appreciated the NGO and staff of the school for organising such a unique programme in rural area. He said that father of nation Mahatama Gandhi has rigtly said that ‘if we want to develop the India, we should work for the upliftment of rural areas’.
He further said the lone girl’s high school of the area lack the building and toilet facilities. He appealed government especially DDC Doda, to visit the school and mitigate the sufferings of the school. He appealed the people to maintain the tradition communal harmony of the area. Others present on the occasion were Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, Ab. Rashid Malik and Asik Hussain Malik.
