| Trikuta College launches plantation drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 25: NSS unit of Trikuta Degree College today organised plantation drive at college campus here, wherein large number of college students besides teaching staff took part.
During the day long activity the volunteers planted saplings of various plants, wherein college also conducted impromptive slogan writing competition on environment. Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman of the college lauded the role of NSS volunteers in generating awareness and taking active part in such social issues. While addressing the gathering he stressed upon planting more trees.
Sahil, Karun, Nalin and Sakshi of BA part 3rd led the drive, saplings of Mango, Ashoka, Satpatra etc were planted during this drive.
Prof. Sunita Magotra, Prof. Samsher Singh, Prof. Pankaj Gupta, Prof. Arti Sharma, Prof. Renu, Prof. Ruchi Sharma were also present on the occasion.
