| KV organises 41st Regional Sports Meet | | | EARLYTIMES REPORT
Jammu, August 25: Kendriya Vidayalaya (KV) Sunjuwan today organised 41st Regional Sports meet in the school premises. IG Armed Police Dilbagh Singh was the chief guest on the function, who inaugurated the programme.
The programme was marked by cultural events, the students of the school presented group songs, Dogri Songs, Dogri dance and Bangra. The chief guest declared the sports meet and highlighted the importance of sports in student’s life. He eulogized the role of KVs in building the career of the student and grooming for the contribution of the nation.
Students from KV2 Pathankote participated in table Tennis and Peep Sight Air Rifle Shooting. 22 students participated in Regional Sports Meet. The sports meet was being conducted with the help of Tajesh Sharma (PET).
On the occasion IG Dilbagh Singh commended principal and school staff for organising colourful events. He appreciated the efforts of the school management in successful conduction of Regional Level Sports Meet inspite of bad weather.
Among others present on the occasion included Danish Rana (DIG) Armed Police, Parvez Mirza (Comandant) Armed police, Usha Shaminder Principal KV.
