| Court denies bail to murder accused | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 25:- Principal Sessions Judge, Jammu AK Shan rejected the bail application of father and son namely Rattan Lal and Kuldeep Kumar who are facing trial in a murder case.
According to the case one Kamal Kumar was assaulted by Kuldeep Kumar, the accused also assaulted the mother of Kamal Kumar, the father the Kamal Kumar deceased Harbans Lal who came on spot, the accused along with his father and brother started thrashing the deceased Harbans Lal who become unconscious and died enroute the hospital. Police on the complaint of Kamal Kumar registered against accused Kuldeep Kumar, his father Rattan Lal and brother Jagir Kumar who absconding and proceedings u/s 512 CrPC have been initiated. Police after completion of the investigation presented challan.
Principal Sessions Judge AK Shan after hearing PP Shabir Ahmed appearing for the state and Advocate Prince Khanna appearing for the accused/applicants, while dismissing the bail application of father and son observed that so far the judgment cited by the counsel for the accused are concerned, same are distinguishable with facts of the present case and are not of any help of the accused and dismissed the bail application.
