| PNB organizes SME disbursement camp | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Aug 25: Punjab National Bank (PNB) today organized an SME disbursement camp at Udhampur wherein loan aggregating to Rs. 60 lakhs were distributed among 42 borrowers.
The function was organized under the stewardship of by Deputy General Manager, Circle Head, J&K operations Ashok Kumar Gupta while District Development Commissioner (DDC) Udhampur Baseer Ahmed Khan was the Chief Guest.
Khan appreciated efforts of the bank in organizing the public function for SME loan distribution in the district. He advised other banks operating in the district to hold similar functions. Ashok Gupta, explained in detail the concept of collateral free lending upto 1 crore under CGTMSE coverage. He added that even Transport, Small Business & loan to trades form part of SME though loan to trades is not covered by CGTMSE.
