| IAF rescues 3 students caught in flash floods | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Aug 25: Three students, who were today morning caught in flash floods in Ujh river, were rescued by an IAF helicopter in the evening.They were identified as Darshan Singh, son of Dhani Ram, Suraj
Singh, son of Karan Singh, and Mohan Singh, son of Manohar Singh.While Darshan studied in 12th class, the other two were students of 11th class, police sources said.
They were going to their school at Forelain Bakhta when they were trapped in the flash floods in Ujh at about 11 am.Ironically, it took the administration more than five hours to call an IAF chopper to rescue them.The IAF chopper lifted them to safety from where they left for their
shomes.
