‘Sports make youth physically, mentally fit’ Bhalla

JAMMU, Aug 25: To inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and utilize the enormous energies of youth in appropriate direction, the Government has made all out efforts to upgrade the sports infrastructure in the State said Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation,. Raman Bhalla after inaugurating the Wrestling Championship, organized by Jai Baba Roshan Shah Bali Dangal Committee at Government Higher Secondary School, Bahu Fort, here this evening.
About 50 players from Punjab, Delhi, Jammu, Utter Pardesh, Udhampur, Rajouri and Akhnoor participated in the one-day championship.
Asserting that the budding sportsmen should refine their talent and bring it on proper platform for further upgradation, Mr. Bhalla advised the youth to participate in sports activities wholeheartedly adding that such type of activities make the youth physically and mentally fit.
Later, . Bhalla also presented mementos to the winning wrestlers.
