| Court to hear arguments on charge on Sept 14 | | Chopra Murder Case | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 26: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu AK Shan fixed September 14, 2010 for arguments on charge in much publicized murder case of Cement Tycoon RB Chopra and his wife Madhu Chopra, daughter Saloni Chopra, Servant Sonu and driver Jagan Nath.
On September 18, 2006 a Special Investigation team was constituted. SIT arrested eight accused involved in the said brutal murder in the history of Jammu City in which one of the alleged accused made approver and whose statement the king-pin of Pradhi Gang Sangram Singh and his Kiran Pradhi was declared absconder and General Arrests Warrants were issued against them. Later on Sangram Singh was produced by the Guna on the direction of Court and Sessions Courts Jammu handed over the Sangram Singh to J&K Police for investigation, but police has failed to extract requisite information from Sangram Singh during custodial interrogation and seeking consent of the Narco Test and the consent was given by the Sangram Singh.
