| J&K bank awarded best Pvt. sector bank | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) has been declared best private sector bank for the year 2009-10 by Dun and Bradstreet (D&B), the world’s leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight.
In this context the bank has been presented an award for providing banking facilities in rural areas in J&K state. Former Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India, M Damodaran, who was chief guest on the occasion, and President and CEO – India Dun and Bradstreet, Kaushal Sampat, presented the award at a glittering function held at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai. On behalf of the bank, award was received by its President and Secretary Parvez Ahmad.
