| BSF Jammu Frontier wins overall trophy | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 26: Giving their best performance, the athletes of BSF Jammu Frontier clinched the overall championship trophy in the just concluded All India BSF Inter-Frontier Aquatic and Cross Country Meet at Sports Headquarter in New Delhi.
The BSF Jammu Frontier team secured first position in Cross Country 12km, SPET 16km and in Water Polo events. It also secured third position in Swimming and Diving events. A total of 10 teams from different BSF Frontiers participated in the event.
On their return the contingent was accorded a warm welcome at Jammu Frontier. The contingent leader briefed Inspector General of BSF Frontier Jammu, S Chattopadhyaya about the team’s performance and presented the overall championship trophy in a function attended by a host of senior officers.
The IGP BSF congratulated the contingent for their performance.
