| Scholarships come raining for Jammu and Kashmir students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, August 26: St. Soldier Group of Institutions, Jalandhar has announced to provide scholarships to the students of Jammu & Kashmir.
“Looking at the intelligence and willingness to acquire higher education St. Soldier Group of Institutions have decided to offer Master Raj Kanwar Scholarships of worth Rs.21 Lakhs to the students of Jammu & Kashmir,” said Prof. Manhar Arora Managing Director St. Soldier Group while addressing to the media today.
He informed that the Institution is offering Engineering (B.Tech), Management(MBA,BBA), Information Technology(MCA,BCA), Pharmacy (B.Pharma, D.Pharma), Bio-Technology, Teacher Education, Polytechnic, Physiotherapy, Law, Nursing, Hotel Management and other degree courses in which more than 30000 students from across India are getting schooling and higher education.
All the courses run by St. Soldier Group are regular and approved by national and state level regulating bodies.
“Looking at the interest of the students of higher education and seeing the opportunities for them after their education, our group has decided to provide equal opportunities to all the students of Jammu & Kashmir willing to start their study with us, “ said Arora adding , “It is the wish of our Chairman Anil Chopra and Vice-Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra that every deserving student must get a chance to study, if there are barrier due to the financial reason that can also be taken care by the educational groups.”
The Institiution also intends to provide benefit with scholarship of Rs.10,000 to every student belonging to any class despite of their marks.
“If a student have 40% marks he shall be given admission and will have right to claim for the scholarships. There will not be any other criteria than the willingness of the candidates and his parents to start his, her higher education with us.
Announcing more benefits the managing director informed that that if these students perform well in the university examination they would be given more benefits like relaxation in the tuition fees in the forthcoming semesters.
Special arrangements will be done to provide placements for all the students who will enroll for this scheme.
