| KV organises Sub- Regional Science Exhibition 2010 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Aug 27: Kendriya Vidayalaya (KV) Sunjuwan today organised two days Sub- Regional Science Exhibition in its school premises. Dr Subash Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, accompanied by Dr KK Kapoor, Dr Parveez Abrol, Dr Parveen Lehna, Dr Satish Chandra. The function was inaugurated by lightening of lamp.
The programme was marked by the cultural events, wherein school students performed group song, Rajasthani Dance and mime. Students from all 11 KVs participated in the event.
The exhibits displayed in the science exhibition included modals on conservation of bio diversity, transport communication, green energy and on various sub- themes. Quiz competition was also organised where knowledge of the participants were tested.
On the occasion chief guest blessed the students and appreciated the principal an dall the faculty members who have taken deep and personal interest in making the sub regional science exhibition a success.
He highlighted the importance of trees in life. He also conveyed a message to students to plant trees and save earth.
