JKNPP leaders sympathize with Leh people | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 28: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Leader Bhim Singh today reached Leh and expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the people of Leh who suffered from wrath of nature on August 4, 5 and 6 earlier this year. Bhim Singh accompanied by Leh District President, Mohd. Ramzan Khan, District General Secretary, Ajaj Ahmed and others visited several flood-ravaged areas of Choglamsar, Solar Camp and Saboo Village. In Phyang, Bhim Singh described the tragic scene as unbearable, ghastly and unbelievable. Singh alleged that cash relief has not reached individuals or the families. He added that floods have demolished hundreds of houses, washed away the land and cattle. Several affected people, old, men, women and everybody met Bhim Singh and shared with him their heart rendering tales. District Panthers Party Committee had convened a meeting under the chairmanship of the District President Ramzan Khan. District Panthers Party in a resolution demanded special arrangement for homeless people in the winter. They also demanded cash help immediately because the families have lost entire household and baggage.
