NC activists tour flood affected areas

Kathua august 28, As per the direction of high authority of National conference, the activists of the national conference conducted extensive visits in flood affected areas of the district kathua under the leadership of Ex-MLA and district president of national conference kathua Dhian Chand to share the problems of the people which are being caused due to the heavy flood causing rains. The flood affected villages of the both Andhar belt and Kandi belt named Jakhbhar, Kokhyal, Parthichak, Mahi Chak, etc. and Mehatab pur, Magar Khad, Sahara Logate and etc respectively along with these area they also visited to the border area of Hiranagar Mangu Chack and the local all wards of the Kathua towns. The district president and Ex-MLA Sh. Dhian Chand expressed his deep shock by seeing the worse condition of the people of the area which has been become by the heavy rains, he said that most of the people of these have lost their proper residential houses, their ration was totally drenched and declined with fungus and nothing left behind to eat proper and regular food even for their children, their street and road network are totally washed away and formed several big hole on the roads and street are completely filled with waters and causing further troubles for the innocent and poor people. The district president and Ex-MLA Sh. Dhian Chand accompanied with senior leader of national conference Advocate Sh. Prem Singh, H.S Wazir, Giani Isher Singh, Th. Anchal Singh, Vinod and Kali Dass after concluding the extensive tour in flood affected area of the district Kathua approached the DC kathua Sh. Sanjeev Verma to provide the immediate and comprehensive system to rehabilitate the victims of the area and also to compensate the loss to the people caused due to heavy rain and who are still suffering and facing the water logging problem in their areas even in houses and also adopt immediate measure to protect the eroding land which is due to the washing away of crates. He also demanded the an appropriate investigation about the untimely breaking and damaging of fresh and newly constructed roads and street’s in theses area and also urged the administration to take serious initiative to construct the roads and streets to counter the immediate problems of roads and streets less flood affected areas to facilitate the suffering people.
