NC-Cong coalition govt legalizes corruption in J&K

ARNIA, Aug 28: Terming present government headed by National Conference a corrupt regime, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that legalizing corruption is the only noticeable achievement of this dispensation.
Addressing a public meeting organized by district vice-president of PDP Jammu Chatter Saini at border town of Arnia, PDP vice president and former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa said that corruption has been legalized in the state. He said that instead of keeping a check on corruption, this regime has been encouraging corrupt elements.
He said that miseries of the people have increased manifold after the formation of National Conference led regime in the state. He said that instead of solving basic problems of the common masses, Ministers and other leaders of ruling parties have been befooling the people by making false promises.
on the occasion, PDP general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh exhorted the workers to expose this regime for pursing anti-people policies. “As the main opposition party we have to play our role”, he said and asserted “we will not remain a mute spectator to the misdeeds of the government”.
He further added that during the last 18 months, woes of the common people have increased manifold. “As this regime has failed to fulfill promises made with the people, National Conference leadership has been desperately trying to divert attention of the common masses”, he said and exhorted the people to frustrate such nefarious designs of the ruling coalition. Ved Mahajan, Falail Singh, Hussain Ali Bafa, Choudhary Chuni Lal, Capt (Retd) Kewal Singh, Ajay Sharma and others addressed the gathering.
