| NC lashes BJP, NPP leaders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu August 28:
Reacting sharply over the statement of the BJP and NPP leader’s, J&K national Conference , Jammu province president, Rattan Lal Sharma today said that NC is a party which has played historical role in the state from its very inception as such people of J&K have great respect and regard towards the party and its leadership.
He said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has worked as minister of state for external affairs of government of India with the then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Vajpayee has publicly appreciated the working, vision and approach of Omar Abdullah.
Prime minister, Manmohan Singh has also appreciated the working of Omar as a chief Minister of J&K.
He said that National Conference is a largest political party in the state, itrepresents al the three regions of the state with largest members in the assembly. NC is working with the aspirations of the people of the state as such accusations made by BJP and PP leaders are not based on facts. He alleged that these parties are misleading the people of the state.
