| Niyas members appreciate SASB efforts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 29: Shri Baba Amarnath and Shri Baba Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas on Sunday complimented the Governor, N N Vohra for making “excellent” arrangements for recently concluded Amarnath yatra.
Talking to the media persons here, president of the Yatri Niyas, Surinder Mohan Aggarwal said all the constituents of Niyas expressed satisfaction over successful completion of both Amarnath and Buda Amarnath pilgrimages.
“During the meeting of all constituents, the members were briefed about the initiatives taken by the Yatri Niyas for the facilitation of the pilgrims during the entire pilgrimage of Amarnath and Buda Amarnath,” he said.
He further said that the members of the Niyas also appreciated and complimented the efforts of the officers of Shrine Amarnath Shrine Board especially Chief Executive Officer (CEO), R K Goyal, Deputy CEO Saugat Diswas, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, M K Dwevadi, senior police officials and higher ups of Tourism Department and Jammu Municipal Corporation who have rendered their services for successful completion of these yatras.
Aggarwal also complimented all the security personnel whether from Army, BSF, CRPF, J&K Police, deployed during both the yatras and applauded their sincere efforts for making these pilgrimage successful and incident free, despite tense situation in Kashmir Valley.
All the members also observed two minutes silence to pay homage to the departed souls who had lost their lives in the Leh tragedy and during Amarnath Yatra.
