MBD launches recycled eco friendly notebooks, copier

Jammu, Aug 29: MBD group the largest publishing house in India today launched MBD Writewell -recycled eco friendly notebooks and MBD Printwell- recycled eco friendly copier. The notebooks and the copier were launched by Prof. Desh Bandhu Gupta, Chairman, and Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education at a function in Jammu today.
Also present at the occasion were Chaman Lal Gupta, Chairman Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Satish Bala Malhotra chairperson MBD group, Monica Malhotra Kandhari senior director MBD group and Sonica Malhotra director MBD group.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Desh Bandhu said, “I congratulate MBD for its endeavours towards saving the environment. Since MBD products have always been known for their quality I am sure that MBD Writewell and Printwell are the best product. In these days when environment has become a cause of concern for our very existence MBD's effort towards launching recycled eco friendly notebooks and copier is highly commendable. I request other business houses to take up the cause of environment with same commitment as that of MBD”.
While talking to the media, Monica Malhotra Kandhari the senior director of the MBD group said, “Through MBD Writewell and Printwell we have tried to curtail the damage done to our eco system but at the same time we have ensured the quality of our product. The paper used in MBD Writewell note books and the MBD Printwell copier is of very fine quality and I am sure the children and the business houses will enjoy using these. It is very necessary that we reach out to as many people as possible on the environment issue.”
Sonica Malhotra further added that MBD Writewell and Printwell was started by her father Ashok Kumar Malhotra .He wanted to set up a world class paper mill which cater to the growing demand of paper in India but at the same time environment continued to be his prime concern.
Earlier, Balwant Sharma executive director MBD group welcomed the chief guest Prof. Desh Bandhu Gupta and other guests who were present on the occasion.
