Jammu, Aug 30:- Forest Magistrate Jammu Sandeep Kour today granted five day police remand to seven impersonators identified as Satinder Singh s/o Ram Saroop Singh r/o Mohalla Choudhary Tola Patna, Bihar, Jabar Singh s/o Hema Ram r/o Village Itawa Tehsil Phulera District Jaipur, Mobeen Khan s/o Mohd Akthar r/o Sham Nagar Khuram Nagar Khuram Nagar District Luckhnow (UP), Lalit Kumar Singh s/o Hari Kumar Yadav r/o Village Itahai District Araia, Bihar, Om Parkash s/o Jodha Ram r/o Rohila Sonari Disrict Barmer Rajsthan, Miss Sharuti Gaur d/o Rajinder Gaur r/o House NO 29, Khoo Walo Gali Sadar Chata Mathura UP, Miss Sheetal Gupta d/o Ashok Kumar Gupta r/o H.NO 138, Malvia Nagar Bhopal MP.
The arrestees are allegedly involved in impersonation in MBBS/BDS Examinations and were arrested on August 21, 2010 and booked under sectios 419/420/120-B/109 RPC r/w section 2/5 Prevention Of Unfair means in Examination Act. They were produced in the Court by SHO Gandhi Nagar Mohd Rafiq in proper custody and seeks police remand for six days.
Forest Magistrate Sandeep Kour after perusal of CD file observed that the investigation is still in initial stage, keeping in view the nature of offence and stage of investigation; accused named above remanded to police custody for five days and directed the IO to conduct the medical examination of accused after every 24 hours.
