AISF donates cash relief for Leh victims

JAMMU, Aug 30: State council of All India Students Federation (AISF) has made donations for the rehabilitation of Leh victims which were recently affected by cloud burst that took hundreds of lives and destroyed the infrastructure of crores of rupees.
An AISF deputation today called on Divisional Commissioner Jammu and handed a demand draft of Rs 14500.
The delegation was headed by State President of the Federation Dr Vimal Singh Manhas.
Dr Manhas said that AISF has always taken a social responsibility whenever there is any natural disaster or even human made disaster.
He appealed the public to contribute for Leh victims according to their ability because natural disaster can occur anywhere so we must help the sufferers.
Dr Manhas expressed gratitude to the students and public of the state who have made a contribution towards Leh Victims.
