'Pak officials boosting training camps'
Militants in camps are aware about

RAJOURI, Aug 30: Following revelation of Pakistan framed new outfit for keeping the bloodshed in Jammu & Kashmir on, militant who surrendered on last Saturday after crossing Line of Control in Poonch along with wife and three children has told investigating officers that some Pakistan officials used to visit their camp during his training days. The surrendered militant also seemed well aware about the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's surrender policy saying that maximum of militants in the camps and outside camps are ready to return back to their homes and get benefit under the government's policy.
As the surrender militant has been sent for 7 days police remand by Chief Judicial Magistrate Poonch, he is being deported to Junior Interrogation Centre for intense questioning. However prior of sending him JIC, Poonch police is continuously questioning him on various issues.
Following yesterday revelation of framing of new outfit JKM by the Pakistan exclusively for Kashmiri militants, Liaqat Hussain of Mohra Bacchai village of Surankote has told investigating officers that some Pakistan officials were used to visit their training camp daily. "I do not know why they were visiting there, but we came to know these were Pak officials", he told investigating officers.
Although Liaqet has not named ISI officials or Pakistan army, however he has said that some Pak officials in civil uniform were always seen in the camp.
About the Omar Abdullah's surrender police, Liaqet seemed well aware. He told investigating officers that he came to know about the Omar Abdullah's policy on TV and Radio. He said that a programme being broadcasted on Doordarshan and Radio Kashmir are always listened by the Kashmiri militants to remain aware about the situation of their area. "We came to know that J&K Government has formulated a new policy for the militants in Pak camps which create a hope among us to return back", Liaqet told Investigation officers adding that although Pak army and training commanders were keeping close vigil on them, they used to listen Kashmir situation daily.
Giving credit of his home coming to his wife Khaleda Begum, Liaqet told media persons that his wife was always stressing him to return back among their own people.
Meanwhile wife of the militant seemed more talkative than the husband. She said that her husband had left the training camp in 2002 and after that they were living their lives like a civilian in a streets of Bagh town. She said that her husband was working as a labourer in the area and earning bread and butter. "We had started schooling of our girl in the local school and all was going in right direction but it was feeling that we could not continue to live in that area which is not ours", she told investigating media persons in the police custody. She added that it takes them three days to reach Guntrian and they had taken shelter in a forest area for two days to save their skin from Pakistan army.
