| CF appoints Qurashi chairman HR in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Sept 3: The Citizen Fourm (CF) on Human Rights in a meeting hold under the chairmanship of S.K. Bhatacharia, National Chairman of the Fourm in which violation of Rights of People in Kashmir and of Kashmiri Pandits were discusses. In the meeting Bhatacharia apponted Qamar Qureshi as (Adhoc) chairman of Fourm of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Welcoming Qureshi in the Fourm Gopal Khajuria secretary of the Fourm said that work in the state being non-religious, non-Political and non-governmental for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State. Fourm will fight for those people who are deprived of their rights and justice not provided to them.
Bhatacharia said to Qureshi that empowerment of women should be taken into consideration in Jammu and Kashmir State and lift the veil of those persons officers who are violating rights of the weaker section of the society.
Speaking on the occasion Qureshi said that he has full faith on the Fourm and he is much inflamed by polices programmes of fourm. He assured that he will left no stone unturned for violation of Human Rights in Jammu and Kashmir. Among others who attend the meeting were Imtaiz Hashmi, (Amnesty International Member), Rohit Sharma, Moon Parsad, Rajinder Singh and others.
