Ineffective govt is responsible for situation in valley : SDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 3: “Ineffective government and inefficient law and order machinery in Jammu & Kashmir is responsible for the alarming situation in Kashmir valley for the last three months now,” said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, President of Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) while addressing a gathering of Gujjar & Bakerwal representatives from Kashmir and Jammu divisions at Party Headquater in Shastri Nagar here today. In her address Dr Darakhshan said that the life in valley of Kashmir is completely paralyzed and it is the rule of Syed Ali Shah Geelani and company that is ruling the state. She said that the situation in the state has completely exposed the so-called Kashmir experts in Delhi and proved them wrong. Dr Darakhshan said that the present situation is the outcome of New Delhi’s adhoc approach towards dealing with Kashmir and it has complicated to an extent where it seems very difficult for the government to deal with. Dr Darakhshan told the gathering that the coalition has failed utterly in coping up with situation in valley and neither Abdullahs are ready to quit on the grounds of moral responsibility and nor is New Delhi interested in showing the gate to the utterly failed Omar government. She said that the people of Kashmir are in great distress and the government only complicates the problem by its word and act. She said that it was unfortunate that both New Delhi and the state governments are dealing with the situation without any commitment and contradict each other every now and then which send very bad signals to the troubled ground. Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that one more alarming tragedy of Kashmir was that it has fell to the trap of agency politics and the agencies involved in it have no sympathy at all for the common people but play for their political ends.
