| Saroori's supporters block NH at Chatroo | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Sept 3: Even after lapse of week's time , the supports of former R & B minister Ghulam Mohammad Saroori as a continuous chain of protest against his removal from the council minister today blocked Kishtwar-Srinager National Highway at two different places in District Kishtwar , The protesters sit on Kuriya Bridge and ristructed the movement of vehicles and in similar way undereds of protesters blocked the Kishtwar -Srinagar National Highway at Mughalmadian and Chatroo respectively they were raising slogans in favour of Saroori and demanding his restoration in council of ministers. The protesters threatens to intensify their protest against the decision of party high command and decleared it a conspiracy on behalf of the Congress enemies, who wants to destabilize the party position in Chenab region, where from 5 MLAs of Congress are representing in J&K Assembly . They alleged that some National Conference leaders in calibration with some vested interest of JKPCC who are enemies of Congress were hatching conspiracy against Saroori and Ghulam Nabi Azad. The protesters further threaten that they will lodge such kind of protests outside Civil Secretarate and even before the Congress Head office at Delhi if Saroori will not be restored to his original position
As soon as the news of blockade of Kishtwar-Srinager National Highway reached Kishtwar, senior congress leader from Kishtwar including Thakur Jughal Bhandari, Mushtaq Hussain Hap, Mohinder Singh Parihar and Tariq Hussain Mintoo rush to the spot. and addressed the gathering and urged upon them to maintain peace and communal harmony so that the Congress High commanded could be compelled rather let without option except to to change its decision of sacking Ghulam Mohammad Saroori. While lashing out at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Thakur Jugal Bhandari JKPCC State Secretary Bhandari said that Omar must have inquired the matter from his own sources before taking the decision of sacking G M Saroori. He raised his doubt over the credibility of Omar Abdullah while making a decision and said that in similar case, the son of his political advisor Mubarak Gul were caught while cheating in an examination of LLB at University. Bhandari said that it speaks the inaction of Omar Abdullah against his own party men. He warns the nefarious elements with in the Congress party that if they don’t stop hatching conspiracy against G M Saroori and Ghulam Nabi Azad they will face the warmth of peoples of Inderwal and Kishtwar .The protesters after a long time of 5 years lifted the Dharna with unanimous decision to continue the same process till Saroori will be resotred as R&B Minister.
