| Khajuria inaugurates public utility taps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 3: BJP former State President and MLA Jammu East Assembly Constituency Ashok Khajuria today inaugurated and made functional taps on water pipes from City Chowk to Kanak Mandi in a programme to provide drink water facilities to people, residents and shopkeepers.
He was accompanied by Chamber of Commerce president, YV Sharma, Yashpal Gupta of Retailers Association, Businessmen Association president Vijay Gupta and others.
The works for laying the water pipes completed today with the inauguration of taps by the MLA.
On the occasion, Khajuria also sanctioned one water cooler from his Constituency Development Funds (CDF) which will be installed at Kanak Mandi.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Khajuria said he is committed for overall development of this constituency and providing basic amnesties to the people of his constituency will on his top priority. He added that he leave no stone unturned for the development of his constituency and assured the peoples of all possible efforts to provide other basic needs to them.
Expressing concern over the power curtailment in Jammu city, he assured the people to take the matter with the concerning department and authority on the problem of power curtailment in Jammu city so that people are not made to suffer any more.
